Well, today was wild goosechase day. Ran to the hospital for pre-op tests and after registering and all that yotz and then going to the lab registration (filling out questionnaires) I went back and answered the same questions that were on the questionnaires--and then was told that I was done. ?????

Went up to surgery and the surgeon saw me and grabbed a needle and pulled gack out of my incision from the mediport (the same one that has been cut open twice trying to figure out why it is oozing and causing me pain and won't heal) and she said that the glue that was used to close the incision got into the wound and is causing scar tissue and inflamation. They would clean it out during surgery (I hope).

This is the third story I have heard yet about this thing. Just heal it already. I love my life. So now, I have this huge bandage on the thing and it will bleed for 24 hours and I have to go back to the doctor's office on Wednesday and get antibiotics before surgery the following Monday.

On a more interesting note, we rented Shakespeare in Love and watched it last night. I don't know how I missed this movie. It was so funny, romantic, sad, and bittersweet and well-written. Everyone acted so wonderfully, especially Joseph Fiennes, Gwenyth Paltrow, Jeffrey Rush, and Colin Firth. It was like watching Romeo and Juliet (or Ethyl) on steroids. I heartily recommend it.

More like "bexxa snurches from people who found the neatest quizzes first." :)

Fingers crossed that the glue thing turns out to be the right answer, and that it does, indeed, get fixed promptly.
